Network Instruments® Moves Corporate Headquarters Minneapolis, MN – August 2, 2005 – Network Instruments, the leading developer of network analysis, monitoring and management solutions, today officially opened a new corporate location in the Minneapolis metropolitan area. The new facility is designed to support Network Instruments continued growth, which is directly correlated with the company’s expansion in the network analysis marketplace. The new headquarters offers generous office space and augmented capacity for hardware research, design, and manufacturing. The location also includes a dedicated training center to accommodate enterprise clients and key channel partners. “We have experienced double-digit growth every year since our start in 1994,” said Douglas Smith, president of Network Instruments. “There are many reasons for this, but the underlying basis is that we continue to be recognized as the leading alternative solution in the realm of network analysis. Our fully distributed architecture, seamless product integration, single user interface, and competitive price points have helped us secure a record number of large-scale deployments.” In the past two years, Network Instruments has launched a number of hardware solutions directed toward enterprise customers. In March, the company unveiled a new line of network Test Access Ports (nTAP™) for maintaining complete visibility into full-duplex links. More recently, Network Instruments unveiled its Gen2™ Gigabit Capture Card that guarantees line rate gigabit analysis. The Gigabit Observer Suite System, Gigabit Probe Appliance, GigaTrunk™ Probe Appliance, and industry-leading 8 TB GigaStor™ Probe Appliance are recent additions to the product line–all of which are powered by Gen2. The company also manufacturers probes for dedicated WAN Analysis and for 10/100 Full-Duplex links. “As the Observer® product line expands, we will continue to provide innovative hardware analysis solutions geared specifically for our enterprise customer base,” said Roman Oliynyk, CEO of Network Instruments. “Our new facility affords us the additional resources we need to effectively and efficiently maintain company growth and meet customer demands.” Network Instruments has taken further advantage of its space by constructing a large-scale training center within the new establishment. Inside this center the company will offer customized, in-house product training and NI University classes on a regular basis. NI University is Network Instruments’ specialized curriculum designed to offer all levels of education on network analysis, network design, and network troubleshooting. “We will continue to conduct product training and NI University classes both nationally and internationally, but now we will also provide those services on-site,” said Bruce Clark, vice-president of sales for Network Instruments. “With our new location, we are better equipped to invite our premier partners and key customers for customized training and greater interaction with our engineering teams. This facility not only offers more space but a chance to add value to our relationship with our channel partners, service providers and customers.” Network Instruments new contact information is listed below.
