As a part of the decision to discontinue development and distribution of LanHound, Sunbelt Software approached Network Instruments® to ensure that you have an easy-to-use solution to meet your network monitoring and analysis needs. An agreement was reached between Sunbelt Software and Network Instruments to move existing LanHound customers to the Observer® monitoring solution.

Network Instruments will provide you with a fully-functional software license for the Observer protocol analyzer and three licenses for the Advanced Single Probe for every license you own of LanHound. Observer gives you all of the functionality of LanHound with an easy-to-use interface, as well as greater reporting and analysis capabilities.

In addition to all of the features and functionality of LanHound, Observer provides an immediate and more in-depth view of network performance and activities through real-time reporting of performance statistics, traffic, and voice and video communications.  Best of all, as an Observer customer, you're entitled to receive special upgrade pricing on Network Instruments products.
