To update Virus and Hack signatures on your local Observer system, follow
these steps (Note: these filters are only supported in Observer version 9.0 and above):
   1. Download the appropriate file (from the list below) to a local directory.
   2. Start Observer.
   3. From the main menu, choose Actions->Filter Setup for Selected Probe.
   4. Make sure that the "Show multi-filter display" option box is checked.
   5. Right-click on the list of filters and choose Import Filter... from the popup.
   6. Browse to the file saved in step 1 of this procedure and click OK.

The hack and virus signature updates will now be available, both in the filter list and
in Triggers and Alarms.

To import the Stencil Library:
   1. Right click on the following link and choose Save Target As to save the file to your desktop.
   2. Open Visio.
   3. Go to File the File Menu and select Open.
   4. Select this file from your desktop. Click Open.
