Can’t print multiple copies using Unix LPR (to NIPRint and FarPRINT)
The problem is not with NIPrint or FarPRINT - it is the LPD/LPR spec itself. There is no definition or standard for printing multiple copies in the original specification (RFC 1179).

At this time there is no way to print multiple copies using LPD/LPR - ours or anyone's.
