TR20 - WAN Analysis using the Observer® Analyzer
This 2 day course focuses on issues and protocols in the Wide Area Network environment. Students learn to troubleshoot common problems at all layers of the TCP/IP stack. Students also learn to examine, analyze, and dissect components using a network analyzer.
2 Days, $1295
Objective:
Manage and troubleshoot WAN environments. Know how x.25, Frame Relay, HDLC, ATM and other WAN protocols work to deliver packets to the intended destination. Know how to use the significant bits and bytes in the protocol headers to assist in troubleshooting. Analyze the operations of the WAN protocols and look for solutions. Understand the functions of the different WAN protocols to analyze trace files for erroneous conditions and correct them. Develop conclusions based on problems noted in the Expert Application.
