TR30 - Security Training (Network Security using the Observer® Analyzer)
This 2-day course focuses on issues and signatures in securing the Network environment. Students learn to identify common security threats, filter for specific signatures, and how to deal with Network Security. Students also learn to examine, analyze, and dissect protocol components using a network analyzer.

Objective:
Manage and troubleshoot LAN Security environments. Learn how to identify vulnerabilities, verify signatures, and analyze trace files with a focus towards network security. Learn how packets are formed to deliver information to the intended destination. Learn how to use the significant bits and bytes in the protocol headers to assist in identifying network intrusions. Understand the different methods of network penetration and to analyze trace files for erroneous conditions and correct or block them.
